Solid Floor —

Lay flat upon the floor —  

Your hands on your heart.  

Feel your heart beating hard —  

Pushing blood around your body  

 

Rest your body and sink down —  

Into the floor, into the ground.  

Relax your shoulders, arms and legs —  

There is only this rising and falling.  

 

Let your thoughts swirl around —  

Let your emotions settle down.  

Just be mindful of your breath —  

The firm ground beneath you.  

 

With mindful breaths, now return —  

To a world of peace and healing.  

This is us returning to good health —  

To our bodily and mental wellbeing.
