Miracle of Mindful Breathing —
I smile and breathe in and out —
I take time to breathe mindfully.
For my body and mind to sink down —
My feet on the earth, resting firmly.
People say with hindsight —
We should do this and that.
But with mindful breathing —
There is both foresight and hindsight.
To live mindfully is to see clearly —
That breathing well is the best strategy.
Don’t wait to be dragged here and there —
Be proactive with mindful breathing.
With the wisdom of foresight we practice,
With the wisdom of hindsight we practice.
Dwelling well in the present moment —
We come to take care of everything!
So breathe in and out and let go —
This is us in transformation —
This is the practice of empowerment,
This is the practice of compassion.
And what is so incredibly amazing? —
Our breath can be touched so easily —
Every day, every hour, every minute —
Something that is always available.
All things can dwell with us in this moment —
Internal feelings together with the world external.
The sunlight and the leaves that are blowing,
The bright flowers in the meadows now growing.
So let’s not practice as just individuals —
Let go and practice with everything.
Entrust your transformation to the present,
And practice mindfulness with everyone.
This is the wonderful practice of mindful breathing,
This is the path we can walk with everyone —
With all our physical and mental aspects,
For mindfulness encompasses everything.
When we return to mindful breathing —
We return to the present moment,
We see our many transformations,
We are filled with love and understanding.
